Germaneers Control Unit (GCU)

The Germaneers Control Unit is a fully integrated automotive controller with E1 approval . The control unit is connected to the existing vehicle display and can be operated with the integrated operating controls of the vehicle (e.g. rotary push-button actuator, touch control, etc.).

 Access to the vehicle buses (e.g., CAN, CANopen) can be provided by a SDK in Android. A partial superimposition of the serial display is also possible. In addition, the control unit has a WLAN and LTE module for internet access.
